‘Radio Silence’
Hi everyone,
Apologies for the radio silence—I'm not great at this newsletter thing. Turns out most of my creativity goes into image crafting. I'll keep this brief and update you on some exciting developments coming up this fall.
New Art Book:
My new art book is almost ready for the pre-sale campaign! This collection features new, eerie, and unique landscapes constructed through my hybrid process. I say “constructed” because it feels like model-building at times, and “landscapes” because of the diverse subject matter within. The book also includes essays on illustration, image crafting, AI, and my predictions and observations. I'm excited to share it, though a bit nervous as I need to meet a pre-sale goal to ensure publication. There will be a cost incentive for the pre-sale. I’ll announce it here first.
Online Course:
In late September, I'm launching an online course available for a limited time download. With a team of professionals, we're aiming to share my approach to creating evocative imagery using various tools, focusing on integrating AI tools to develop a personal and unique process. The course will cover basic image crafting principles, useful digital tools and industry standards, and new AI tools that could revolutionize your work. It's a shallow dive into the ever-deepening AI waters—something to get you started. Once again, I’ll announce it here as soon as a firm date is set.
Upcoming Film:
There's a movie coming out that features me discussing AI and art—'Priceless', directed by Drew Lightfoot. The release date isn't set yet, but you can check out the trailer and sign up for the Priceless newsletter here.
Prints:
Prints are coming! I've faced some setbacks in setting this up, but I've finally found some affordable, high-end paper print solutions. My new Print Store URL will be announced later this month. I’ll be starting with a series of cloud prints.
High-end archival prints on acrylic glass are still available of almost all of my work, and I recommend them for the best color, depth, and tones.
Thank you for your support, the online community, and your interest in my work and process. I'm extremely lucky to do what I do, and that's because of you all. After all, an artist needs an audience.
Best,
